Research Area: adipose tissue biology, oxidative stress, regenerative medicine, personalized therapies, translational medicine
I am a Biochemist and I have a PhD Degree in Medicine from Romanian Academy (2011) with a year spent at the University of Antwerp, Belgium (2007-2008). I have an expertise in medical biochemistry, adipose tissue biology, oxidative stress and physiologic alterations in metabolic conditions, cell culture (standardized cell lines and primary culture), UV-VIS spectrophotometric determinations, SDS-PAGE, Western Blott, chemiluminescence, ELISA, PCR, real-time PCR, macroarray and specific miRNA analysis. Currently, I am involved in a project entitled “Multidisciplinary Consortium for Supporting Research Competencies in Diagnosing, Treating and Identifying Predictive Factors of Malignant Gynecological Diseases” (ONCOGIN),PN-III-P1-1.2-PCCDI2017 – 0833, 68PCCDI/2018.
My research activity is materialized in a number of 44 original articles, 27 being ISI indexed, and 14 as main author. The 44 published papers lead to 217 citations (with auto-citations), Hirsch index – 7 (Web Of Science); http://www.researcherid.com/rid/U-4330-2017
